What to know before you “Go” to the 2020 Virtual LCI Congress

The LCI team has worked diligently to make the virtual Congress experience user friendly for LCI Congress attendees. As your “quick access”, use the blue navigation bar at the top of the screen to locate everything within the platform. The first time you sign in, go to “account” in the top right corner and click “edit profile” to update your picture, organization, and add your LinkedIn URL. This information will be visible to other Congress attendees.

A nice feature of this platform is the ability to engage other attendees by sending personal messages through the “conversation” tab on the navigation bar. You might see a great idea posed during the live chat of a session and this feature allows you to easily follow up with the speaker for additional information. This is a creative innovation that directly supports our virtual event.

Speaking of live chat, when you click into a session in the “agenda”, under the “schedule” tab, you will be able to start asking questions right away. Speakers and Champions will be in the live chat to field attendee questions during the presentation and during the designated Q&A time at the end of each session. Again, remember to fill out your profile with your picture and organization when you first log in, so this information displays up beside your questions and comments in the live chat.

While the virtual program has opened up some exciting features it has also limited some possibilities for Congress. That has not stopped us from planning a virtual networking Happy Hour on Tuesday, October 20th at 3:30 pm EDT.  Also, we have three networking breaks for you to participate in:

Tuesday, October 20th, 12:05 PM ET

Wednesday, October 21st, 12:05PM ET

Thursday, October 22nd, 11:35 AM ET

The moderators for these networking breaks are truly energetic about making this a valuable experience, and we hope you join us for great conversations! Join the Happy Hour and networking sessions through the Congress platform agenda.

Lastly, we highly encourage attendees to visit the virtual exhibit hall. Exhibitors have great products to show and are eager to connect with LCI Congress attendees to discuss solutions that can benefit your organization.

As we prepare to move the 2020 LCI Congress into full swing, search #LCICongress20 during Congress week and follow us on LinkedInTwitter and Facebook to stay up-to-date on Congress happenings. We are ready to kick off the first ever virtual LCI Congress next week!
